Managing Partner
Jemma is Managing Partner of Hunston Grove and leads the firm’s strategy desk, with close to two decades of experience in executive search and talent advisory across professional and digital consulting.
Prior to founding Hunston Grove, Jemma was Managing Director of Elysian Search Consulting, where she built a data-driven talent advisory and executive search practice for professional services firms. Her approach combined a proprietary discovery methodology with leading practices such as the GC Index to drive inclusion, diversity and high-performing teams. Her career began in technical and contract recruitment at Harvey Nash, before she specialised in digital and consulting search. It was there she identified the gap that would go on to shape her thinking: that the real challenge in transformation isn’t technology, it’s people. That belief underpins how she works with clients today, understanding teams, culture and capability before a single candidate is identified.
Known for her rigour, commercial instinct and commitment to getting under the skin of a client’s business before recommending who should lead it, Jemma works closely with boards and leadership teams to make appointments that are built to last, not just to fill a seat.
Away from work, Jemma is a proud mum to an energetic girl tribe and enjoys family time travelling the world with them & her partner.
